About
At Dignity Health Collective, we believe that healthcare has become too individualistic, with an expectation for everyone to heal in the same way in highly commoditized and impersonal experiences. The need for dignity in healthcare is rooted in the truth that people are human, with unique experiences and an innate capacity for healing.

Mission
Our mission as a collective is to engage with and create systems that empower people to shape their own healthcare experiences.
To achieve this, we intend to:
- Develop a health apprentice program.
- Offer a multi-leveled coaching certification program.
- Provide ongoing support for all health and wellness providers, starting with community healers.
- Grow and nurture an ecosystem of health and wellness in a clinic offering direct services and training for health and wellness providers.
Our programs and services will prioritize those who are most marginalized, and will be built upon anti-oppression and trauma-competent lenses, with those skills woven into all training and support.
We cannot do this alone. We are looking for motivated individuals who share our passion for making a difference in health and wellness at a community level. Ideal candidates for our board will possess relevant experience, have the time and energy to commit to the work of a new nonprofit, and cumulatively represent diverse aspects of our community.
